Reaching new heights at the CSA Jindabyne Conference!
Tuesday 28 October 2025
Last week two of our Survey team members, Alex and Leila, headed south to the alpine town of Jindabyne to attend the CSA October Conference 2025, hosted by the Country Surveyors Association of NSW in partnership with Consulting Surveyors NSW.
The conference brought together surveyors from across the state for three days of technical presentations, professional development, and networking. Alex and Leila joined a mix of industry professionals and students, including a number of surveying students from the University of Newcastle, creating a great opportunity for knowledge sharing. The conference covered a wide range of topics relevant to regional and rural surveying practice, with a focused on cadastral updates, spatial technologies, and industry challenges.
The event provided a platform to discuss the evolving role of surveyors in infrastructure planning and land management, key themes that resonate closely with the work Parker Scanlon Survey Team are involved with in the Hunter region.
We are proud to support our team’s ongoing professional development. On behalf of our team members that attended, we wanted to thank the Country Surveyors Association and Consulting Surveyors NSW for hosting such a well organised event.
