Surveying History!

Whilst traveling through the red centre on her holiday, our team member Jane managed to take a quick snap of these historical survey monuments.

Monument featured to the left is located on the three state boarder (NSW/QLD/SA) also known as a “Surveyor Corner”. This pillar in Cameron Corner marks the meeting point of the three states established in the 1800s.  Standing here, Jane was able to experience being in three places at once!

The monument featured above is a historical survey beacon located between Bourke and Nyngan, north-west of New South Wales.
